Most undergraduate and master's students who are matriculated in a program on a campus in the U.S. are required to complete one qualifying Experiential Learning Engagement as a university graduation requirement.
This requirement can be fulfilled by completing one of the following:
- Co-op
- Internship
- Clinical placement
- Approved Courses with required industry partnership project
For students matriculated in programs at the Toronto or Vancouver campus locations, experiential learning opportunities may include additional work-integrated-learning experiences beyond the above experiences.
Students in the following programs are exempt from the Experiential Learning Graduation Requirement and may not be eligible to participate in the aligned experiential learning opportunities.
- Students studying in non-degree programs
- CPS Undergraduate programs
- Online or primarily online programs
- PhD programs
- Undergraduate and graduate certificate programs
- Mills College and Marymount Manhattan College continuing students
- London dual-degree students
