An undergraduate internship is defined as an unpaid opportunity for supervised practical experience directly related to the student’s academic area of study. Internships must be integral to the student’s program requirements, approved by an academic entity, and supervised by a faculty member. Students must work at least 12 hours per week to earn academic credit for an internship in a term, as equated to the course credit guidelines.
