The interdisciplinary minor in early intervention is designed for students who enjoy working with very young children and their families. Through coursework and optional practicum experiences, students are prepared to work with infants and toddlers with known disabilities, or those who are at risk for developmental delay, and their families.

Complete all courses listed below unless otherwise indicated. Also complete any corequisite labs, recitations, clinicals, or tools courses where specified.

Required Courses

Completing the courses below will provide eligibility to pursue provisional certification in the state of Massachusetts upon employment in an early intervention setting. Consult with your program director to determine the availability of and recommended/required enrollment sequence for your respective program.
