The minor in environmental engineering opens opportunities for students across the university who are interested in gaining knowledge in issues related to the environment and associated engineering solutions as presented through courses from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. 

A total of 16 semester hours is required to complete this minor. Students interested in this minor must contact the civil and environmental engineering academic advisor in order to declare the minor. This minor is open to engineering and non-engineering students, except for civil engineering or environmental engineering majors. No more than two courses completed for a degree program may be applied to this minor.
